This Calgary mall will be decorating 150 Christmas trees
The third-annual Find Christmas Downtown event will take place at the CORE Shopping Centre on November 22.
The purpose of the event is to decorate and provide Christmas trees to local families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it, and it also acts a reminder of what the holiday spirit truly is all about.

Corporations, non-profit organizations, and media partners will come together to decorate 150 trees throughout the space, and the trees will remain at the mall for the holiday season until December 19. After that, they will be delivered to local families in need across the city.
The event is expected to be full of teamwork, live music, entertainment, and the climax of the night is the lighting of the CORE’s 45-foot tree and an indoor firework show!

The CORE is also hosting a free Santa photo session from November 22 until Christmas. Monetary donations, toys, and gifts are appreciated and will go towards The Magic of Christmas charity.
