Canada’s hottest beach festival is back as the Monster Energy Center of Gravity returns to Kelowna, B.C. from July 8 to 10. Now in its ninth year, the sports and music festival is bringing over 30 world-renowned artists to B.C.’s Okanagan, performing across four outdoor stages.
Headliners this year include eight-time Grammy Award winner Skrillex, Dutch DJ/producer Afrojack, and hip-hop legend Ice Cube.
The festival combines some of the world’s top musical acts with over 150 international athletes competing in seven adrenaline pumping sports, including beach volleyball, basketball, wakeboarding, freestyle motocross and snowmobiling, skateboarding, and BMX.
“Festivals have an amazing way of creating powerful connections and shared experiences between like-minded people,” Scott Emslie, festival founder, said in a release. “It has been a great journey seeing MECOG grow. I’m thrilled to see the level of talent we have been able to attract for this year’s festival.”
