The weekend is finally here! And with it comes all sorts of fun fall activities to get you into the Thanksgiving spirit.
No need for an umbrella if you’re going to visit the corn maze this weekend – though rubber boots are always reccomended – as weather will stay sunny with spots of clouds throughout.
You wouldn’t get very far with that umbrella anyway; a wind warning is in effect for southern Alberta and communities south and west of Calgary for Friday, with winds reaching strengths of up to 100 km per hour, according to Environment Canada.

“Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds,” the warning read.
Skies will clear up on Sunday, but temperatures will once again dip below freezing in the night.
Don’t worry, though, it doesn’t look as though we’ll wake up for another snowy Monday this week.
