Winter warm up Calgary: temperature climbing to 14°C by next week

It’s finally here! The great big C is coming our way and we can’t be more ready for it.

Looking at our 7 day forecast can be a bit confusing for some, and perhaps like an error to others, but it’s not. Only in Calgary can this swing of 30 degrees seem normal.

Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday January 12 the temperature will remain cold, Wednesday morning sitting at -16°C with the windchill making it feel like -28°C but then the warm up starts, just in time for the weekend.

Sunday, January 15 we’ll reach a high above zero and Monday could be looking at double digits.

Get ready for slushy road conditions and sinus headaches.
