We hope you enjoyed that sun while it lasted, because winter is right around the corner.
The cold weather is coming with a vengeance this week, with snow in the forecast straight through until Sunday.

Tuesday will see rain and a high of 6°C, which will also be the last time we’ll see above freezing temperatures ever for the foreseeable future.
The snows will start Tuesday night and continue into Wednesday, not letting up until possibly Saturday or Sunday – but even then, it’s at least a 60% chance of flurries.
Friday and Saturday will be the coldest, dropping as low as -13°C at night.
Silver lining: You at least have Tuesday to get out there, buy some new winter boots, put snow tires on the car, and stock up on firewood as the long winter approaches.
Then again, it’s Calgary, so you’re probably already prepared to face winter’s icy grip head-on.
Right?
