Is it really spring-time in Calgary without ridiculously fluctuating temperatures?
Don’t pack away that winter coat quite yet, no matter how warm it’s expected to get in the next few days.
With cloudy skies and a high of 10°C on tuesday, the week starts off well enough, reminding us that spring has indeed sprung – even on this ride of the Rockies.
That taste of sunshine will be short-lived, however, as the rest of the week steadily regresses back into the winter we’ve waited so patiently to escape from.
Periods of snow are expected for Friday during the day, and a chilly -12°C is expected during the night.
Chances of snow will continue throughout Saturday, dropping as low as -11°C.
With temperatures shifting a full 22°C over the course of four days, Calgarians can expect the usual chinook headaches that they’ve begrudgingly come to accept.
At least it’s a glimpse of some warmer days ahead, right?
