4 ways to do the ultimate Stampede detox (and win a $200 gift card for Willow Park Village)

Jul 6 2018, 4:48 am

The “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth” only comes around once a year, and it’s one heck of an exhilarating (and exhausting) time.

You’ve done it all – partied for 10 nights straight, attended the rodeo, watched the chuckwagon races, and indulged in some seriously outrageous festival food (the hangover mac and cheese included) – all while wearing your best double-denim outfit.

For all of that, we salute you. You rocked Stampede 2018, and now you probably feel like a shell of your former self that’s in need of the ultimate post-Stampede detox. The good news is that Willow Park Village wants to help you feel like your best self, and they’re giving away a $200 gift card.

Before you enter the contest below, check out some of the places at Willow Park that can help with your post-Stampede detox.

Stampede recovery facial – Skoah

Forget about the late nights and the amount of alcohol that you consumed at Stampede and focus on getting back on track by treating yourself. Skoah is offering a recovery facial that will help you manage any of your Stampede-induced skin challenges, including a foot-detox treatment and calf-and-foot massage to loose up boot-bound heels and toes.

Sweat out the toxins – 9Round

Kickboxing/9Round

Although you may have done a line dancing session or two at Stampede (which kind of counts as exercise), now’s the time to sweat out all of the toxins incurred as a result of your antics. Hit up 9Round for a couple of 30-minute kickboxing fitness classes and you’ll be feeling fine in no time. This full-body workout is fast, effective, and results-orientated.

Drink fresh pressed juices – Booster Juice

If you managed to get some of your five-a-day in during Stampede, that’s seriously impressive. If not, make up for it now with freshly pressed juices and specialty shots at Booster Juice. The lemon ginger shot is full of antioxidants to help boost your immune system after a week of partying.

Buy healthy meals (or do a 21-day cleanse) – MADE Foods

Feasting on fried food is all well and good for convenience mid-partying at Stampede, but your body will thank you for eating healthy foods now. Cooking is likely the last thing you want to do, so pick up some pre-packaged eats at MADE Foods. You could even do a 21-day cleanse (if you have it in you) to help restore energy and correct eating habits.
