It’s time to eat poutine for seven days straight and be totally guilt-free because YYC’s annual week-long celebration of all things poutine is back from April 20 to 28.
The best part of this delicious week? Every poutine sold during Poutine Week in any of the participating restaurants provides a free meal to someone in need thanks to Canadian Mealshare. Now that’s poutine with purpose.

In 2017 Calgary Poutine Week sold 8,000 poutines, which means 8,000 youth received a free meal.
One of the most exciting collaborations during Poutine Week is the Gravy Bowl, an event that pairs up Calgary Stampeders with local chefs and breweries to compete to sell the most poutine for Mealshare. These special Gravy Bowl poutines can be found online.
