The 38 communities Calgary Police will have photo radar in this February (MAP)

The Calgary Police Service has released the February 2018 list of locations where photo radar will be enforced.

In a release, CPS wrote:

In response to community needs identified through statistical analysis, collisions, and citizen concerns, mobile photo radar will be set up on Crowchild Trail, Glenmore Trail, Deerfoot Trail, Macleod Trail, Sarcee Trail, and Stoney Trail.

Other than those main roads, here is a list of communities where the Calgary Police will focus on traffic control:

  • Beltline
  • Deer Run
  • Dover
  • Evergreen
  • Falconridge
  • Foothills Industrial
  • Forest Lawn
  • Glenbrook
  • Glendale/Killarney/Glengarry
  • Killarney/Glengarry
  • Lake Bonavista
  • McKenzie Lake
  • Mission
  • Montgomery
  • Mount Pleasant
  • New Brighton
  • North Glenmore Park
  • Panorama
  • Queensland
  • Ramsay
  • Richmond
  • Rocky Ridge
  • Rundle
  • Shaganappi
  • Shaganappi/Killarney/Glendale
  • Thorncliffe
  • Tuscany
  • Tuxedo
  • University Heights
  • West Hillhurst
  • West Springs
  • Westgate
  • Winston Heights/Mountview

There are also 51 intersection safety cameras set up throughout the city to catch anyone running a red. As seen on the map below, if you’ve got a heavy foot, it might be time to lighten up.
