The 36 communities Calgary Police will have photo radar this April (MAP)

The Calgary Police Service has released the April 2018 list of locations where photo radar will be enforced.

In a release, CPS wrote:

In response to community needs identified through statistical analysis, collisions, and citizen concerns, mobile photo radar will be set up on Crowchild Trail, Glenmore Trail, Deerfoot Trail, Macleod Trail, Sarcee Trail, and Stoney Trail.

Other than those main roads, here is a list of communities where the Calgary Police will focus on traffic control:

  • Beddington
  • Beltline
  • Bowness
  • Bridgeland/Riverside
  • Canyon Meadows
  • Cedarbrae
  • Copperfield
  • Cougar Ridge
  • Cranston
  • Edgemont
  • Evanston
  • Evergreen
  • Falconridge
  • Huntington Hills
  • Kincora
  • Lake Bonavista
  • Marlborough Park
  • Mayland Heights
  • McCall Park
  • Monterey Park
  • Palliser
  • Penbrook Meadows
  • Queensland
  • Riverbend
  • Rocky Ridge
  • Sherwood
  • Springbank Hill
  • Sunnyside
  • Sunridge Industrial Park
  • Taradale
  • Valley Ridge
  • Varsity
  • Vista Heights
  • Woodbine

There are also 51 intersection safety cameras set up throughout the city to catch anyone running a red. As seen on the map below, if you’ve got a heavy foot, it might be time to lighten up.
