Calgary Night Market returns this weekend as a Stampede alternative
The Calgary Night Market is returning to Southcentre Mall as a free family-friendly option for those looking for alternate entertainment in the South of Calgary as the Stampede kicks off.
After putting on a successful kickoff event in early June, the second installation of the Calgary Night Market will take place on July 7 and 8.
In a media release to Daily Hive, they shared their “goal of mirroring the diverse and colourful night markets of the Philippines.”
Those in attendance can count on enjoying a variety of goods and fare from local artists, small business entrepreneurs and curators.
The organizers shared that “new vendors and food stalls have been added for this second event to ensure there is something new and exciting for everyone to enjoy.”
“Live music will charm visitors as they weave their way through the house goods, jewelry, apparel, skin and beauty products, food from around the world and more!”
The event is family-friendly and will also have face painting, a fun photo booth, a caricature and a henna artist.
And dogs are welcome too!
