Calgary International Beer Festival 2018 hops into the city this May

Feb 15 2018, 7:31 am

The Calgary International Beer Festival (CIBF) is headed back into the city this May, and with it come all those glorious craft brews, informational seminars, and the Canadian International Beer Awards.

Some of Calgary’s best breweries and beers will get the recognition they so deeply deserve, and attendees will be able to try out these would-be award winners with a sample mug supplied by CIBF.

All ticket-holders will also have a hand in the People’s Choice Awards, with voting taking place throughout the multi-day festival.

Sample food will be available for anyone looking for a little more substance – though there will surely be some stouts on hand, as well – along with live entertainment.

The two-day event will take place on a Friday and Saturday (so no worries about showing up to work the next day hungover), and tickets are currently on sale for $19 to $49 apiece.

According to the CIFB website, you can get a 30% off early-bird price if you get tickets before February 28.
