Mia Parres and Rob Evans, stars of the hit show The Expandables (no, not The Expendables — Arnie isn’t making an appearance on Home and Garden Television anytime soon) have scored a headlining spot at the Calgary Home and Design Show.

The show will take place from September 22-25 at BMO Centre at Stampede Park, and the HGTV duo will take the helm of the Trail Appliances Main Stage on Friday, September 23 at 7 pm, and Saturday the 24th at 1 pm. Stick around after the show to get an autograph or two.

On The Expandables, Parres and Evans work together to design new interiors for homeowners with the added challenge of not adding any square footage to the total footprint of the house, something that the organizers believe will resonate with Calgarians.

“We’re so excited to welcome Mia and Rob to Calgary for their very first Calgary Home and Design Show appearance,” said Micheline Picot, operations manager for Marketplace Events, producers of the Calgary Home and Design Show. “Their ability to create new, seemingly larger spaces within the existing footprint of a home is something that is certain to appeal to Calgary homeowners, especially those who find themselves living in close quarters.”

The HGTV stars will share headlining duties with Love It Or List It Vancouver‘s Todd Talbot and DIY blogger Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault, a regular guest expert on Cityline.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Todd and his signature brand of keen real estate insight back to Calgary. Now more than ever, homeowners are looking for solid advice and insight from the experts, so we’re really pleased to be bringing the best in the business to the BMO Centre this fall,” said Picot.

The final Trail Appliances Main Stage schedule will be released later this summer.
