Calgary’s biggest handmade market Make It! is coming back to the Big Four Building this week.
The event is taking place from Thursday, November 2 to Sunday, November 5 and it’s set to feature more than 175 of Canada’s top artists, makers, and crafters.
It’s a fun, upbeat shopping experience where you’ll be sure to find gifts for everyone on your holiday list this season. Shop everything from clothing and accessories, to art, home decor, gourmet goodies, baby and kid items, among other handmade treasures.
For the adults, there will be a beer garden and food trucks to keep you going throughout the day.
And to make it better, early bird tickets are on sale now costing just $5 each via Make It!.
After a six-year hiatus, the handmade market relaunched in April 2017 to an overwhelmingly warm welcome from handmade loving Calgarians. What separates Make It! from other craft fairs is the upbeat, positive vibe you’ll experience at the show.
Just remember when you’re shopping at Make It! and you buy handcrafted items, you not only support someone’s dream, but you become part of the story.
Since 2008, Make It! has grown to be one of the largest craft fairs in Canada with bi-annual events in Edmonton, Vancouver, and now Calgary. Each year, more than 900 ‘Makies‘ participate in the shows and in 2016 close to 100,000 shoppers came out to support them.
“It’s been absolutely incredible to see the handmade community continue to thrive and grow year after year,” founder Jenna Herbut said in a press release.
