What: Although patio season came to an abrupt end this year, give it one less hurrah at National on 8th’s legendary rooftop patio. Since Halloween is notoriously chilly in Calgary, you’ll be able to stay perfectly warm in your ski gear, not to mention you don’t have to come up with a costume idea.
What: Kensington businesses have joined together to create neighbourhood fun all-day- long on October 29. A Halloween map can be downloaded from the Kensington website that will take visitors through the ‘hood’ to over 12 participating venues. Enjoy Halloween inspired cocktails, a night-time haunted house, a black light painting class and indoor specials galore.
When: October 29 from 10 am to late (drink specials begin at 2 pm)
What: As a former funeral home, The Rose and Crown pub on 17th Ave is the perfect spot for a chilling evening. Ghost Hunt Alberta members will be on hand to discuss creepy stories and evidence of paranormal activity, or you can get one-on-one psychic readings from Bonnie Milner of Shadowdivination.
What: Party with Gummi, Rocswell, and DJ Don Juan as they play all your favourites, old school and new school combined. You can purchase $150 bottle service for the night, but tickets must be purchased separately. Email [email protected] to book tables.
