When the NHL schedule came out last summer, you may have circled Calgary’s first-ever game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The first major pro team ever to come to Sin City, there were many curious eyes on the NHL’s newest team. Calgary has to wait until January 30 to play their division rival at the Scotiabank Saddledome, and to the surprise of everyone it’s a marquee matchup.
Vegas entered the All-Star break in first place in the Western Conference, meaning that this could very well be a preview of a playoff matchup this year.
