With freezing temperatures and snow on its way this weekend, this might be one of your last chances to get out there and live it up in the city.

#COREeaster 2018

  • What: Family members of all ages are invited to this exciting Easter egg hunt happening in the downtown core. Check with retailers and common areas around the shopping centre and don’t forget to check social media for potential clues on where the eggs might be stashed. In each egg you will find an exciting prize voucher for a retailer in the mall. There will also be an opportunity to win Charles, a 25 lbs chocolate bunny from Purdy’s through a photo contest and the hashtag #COREeaster on social media. Good luck!

Whales Tohora

  • What: COming all the way from the National Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, this exciting exhibition has been travelling North America for the last 10 years and Calgary marks it’s final destination. Excite your senses with this unique cultural experience that will show you everything you need to know about the king of the ocean; the whale. The exhibit shows everything from life-size whale skeletons to the evolution of these creatures and understanding how they communicate. There is so much to know about these beautiful beings.
