June is really a wonderful month for many reasons.

Celebrate the season with the various festivals happening throughout the month, along with block parties, tea parties and every other kind of party imaginable. You can also find a ton of events that are taking place in honour of Canada’s 150th Birthday.

If you’re looking to spend a weekend or two outside of the city, or just want to enjoy the beautiful weather, there are a ton of summer festivities to take part in up in the mountains. Really any reason to head outside sounds good to us!

We know you’re thinking, how are we already half of the way through 2017, crazy we know! Here are 50 fun and festive events that you should probably check out this month!

Hang out on one of Calgary’s best Patios

  • What: Take a break from the heat and have an ice-cold bevy on one of Calgary’s best patios. From rooftops to hidden gardens, there are plenty of spots to choose from that will have the vibe and ambiance you’re looking for. Check out some of Calgary’s best rooftop patios here!

Grab a Root Beer Float from Village and Walk by the River

Yoga Mountain Adventure Retreat

Bike the Banff Legacy Trail

The 29th Annual Lilac Festival
