Miracle on First Street YYC

What: Canmore Cave Tours are hosting their Spirit in the Mountain concert series, which will see various music groups performing live 100 metres underground. The venue is Rat’s Nest Cave, and the Monday performance features Canmore native Seth Anderson.

Calgary’s Official Poetry Slam featuring Cobra Collins

What: Calgary’s Official Poetry Slam and Open Mic welcomes Cobra Collins, a Calgary-based Metis poet who was the captain and coach of Calgary’s 2016 Slam team. Cobras has performed at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word and is a member of Calgary’s Inkspot Spoken Word Collective, home of Calgary’s official poetry Slam.

Find Christmas Downtown 2018

What: The third-annual Find Christmas Downtown at the CORE Shopping Centre decorates and provides Christmas trees to local families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it. Corporations, non-profit organizations, and media partners will come together to decorate 150 trees throughout the space, and the trees will remain at the mall for the holiday season until December 19. After that, they will be delivered to local families in need across the city. The CORE is also hosting a free Santa photo session from now until Christmas. Monetary donations, toys, and gifts are appreciated and will go towards The Magic of Christmas charity.

December Cats & Yoga
