Calgarians are confused, angry about a snowless December

Seriously, though. Where’s the snow?

It has been an unusually mild December in Calgary so far, and it’s starting to weigh on the usually-snow-covered residents.

Even Houston, Texas, a city nearly 1,000 kilometres south from Calgary, has seen snow this December, and that fact hasn’t gotten past Calgarians.

Usually a respite from the cold would be a welcome change in Calgary, but sometimes there can be too much of a good thing, it seems.

The dry December has spurred worries on everything from snowless Christmas to the end being nigh.

Mother Nature needs to decide what’s going on in #Calgary. My kid’s starting to get anxiety cuz there’s no #snow yet and it’s less than 3 weeks til #Christmas

I would imagine that the wild rabbits of Calgary are all choked at the lack of snow because they all bothered to turn white.
