Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. to open its first ever Canadian restaurant

The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., the restaurant chain inspired by the 1994 movie, Forest Gump, is opening a location in West Edmonton Mall.

A website for the American chain lists 43 Bubb Gump locations in the US and internationally. The incoming restaurant at Edmonton Mall will the first-ever Bubba Gump in Canada.

Known for its seafood-centric menu spotlighting almost every imaginable preparation of prawns. Diners can look forward to shrimp cocktails, shrimp mac ’n cheese, popcorn shrimp, shrimp gumbo, shrimp po’boy sandwiches, fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, grilled shrimp skewers, and a bounty of other seafood dishes.
