Boobyball 2016 fundraiser brings sass and style to Calgary

Shake your tropical tails and fan your fancy feathers – the Boobyball is back in Calgary and this year’s theme is Paradise City!

The high profile annual ball supports Rethink Breast Cancer, which raises awareness of cancer among young people and aims to “infuse sass and style” the cause.

This year, the Boobyball will immerse guests into the wild for a sizzling soiree at the Enmax Conservatory at Calgary Zoo on October 27.

Expect electric sunsets, lush libations, majestic beats and tiki treats at this jungle-themed ball.

Tickets are $75 and include two complimentary drink tickets, snacks, gift bag and entertainment. If you buy 10 tickets or more,  processing fees are waived.

Or if you like, you can also throw your own#MyBoobyball fundraiser, with a downloadable party package, including an exclusive playlist, a customizable invite, and printable décor.

The #MyBoobyball party host that raises the most money will win a trip for four to attend the Boobyball in 2017, plus a $1000 shopping spree at Topshop.

And if you fancy winning a chance to get a VIP booth at this year’s Boobyball, there is always the Pack Goals, a breast health challenge starting on September 19.

Supporters and their “animal pack” friends who complete 10 days of healthy living challenges get a chance to win that VIP booth, valued at $5,000.

Since it was launched 15 years ago, Boobyball has raised almost $4 million to educate, empower and support young people who are concerned about and affected by breast cancer.
