These are the 50 best Canadian workplaces for women in 2018
Each year, Great Place to Work publishes a list of Canada’s Best Workplaces for Women. And today, the top 50 workplaces for 2018 were unveiled.
According to Great Places to Work, to be eligible for the list, “organizations must be Great Place to Work- Certified in the past year, have at least 15 female employees and a minimum 90% positive response (from both men and women) to the statement ‘I am treated fairly regardless of my sex’.”
They then determine the best based on female employee responses to the ‘Trust Index survey,’ female advancement within the organization, and formal programs that support women.
This year, at the Best Workplaces for Women, 62% of non-managers and 48% of mid and senior managers are female, according to organizers.
“Organizations fostering a culture of empowerment and inclusion are more likely to get great perspectives from employees,” said Jose Tolovi Neto, CEO, Great Place to Work Canada in a statement. “This results in lower turnover and more innovation.”
