Kensington Village is often referred to as the “heart of Calgary,” and rightfully so. This trendy community not only geographically falls in the centre of Calgary, but also encompasses a wide variety of unique hot spots for some of the best food, drinks, and fun Calgary has to offer. Here are just a few of the great places you will find in Kensington:

The first hot spot on the list is Julio’s Barrio Mexican Restaurant, which provides a vibrant and exciting atmosphere to share with friends and family. The menu offers a great twist on Mexican classics and they serve some of the best Bulldogs in Calgary, and if you’re up for it, try a “fishbowl margarita.” With summer coming up, Julio’s is also the central focus of the annual Sun & Salsa festival, which is definitely worth checking out. You can’t go wrong when the day is filled with great music, food, and friends!
