BBQ on the Bow is back for its 25th year this Labour Day weekend

Roll up your sleeves, stock up on napkins, and loosen your belt: BBQ on the Bow is back this Labour Day long weekend.

Now in its 25th year, this Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) sanctioned BBQ Competition and outdoor festival will once again be taking place at the Montgomery Community Association (Shouldice Park) and will celebrate all the joy and deliciousness that is “southern-style” BBQ.

What was once a small competition honouring Albertan agricultural ingredients has grown to be a fantastic family-friendly festival and one of Canada’s most beloved BBQ competitions.

For 2017, you can expect to find live demonstrations, the chance to interact with the BBQ masters, live entertainment, a kids zone, market place, beer gardens, and–of course–tons of BBQ eats for purchase. Admission to the grounds is totally free.
