Banff may just be home to the favourite festival for craft beer lovers.

There’s no better way to enjoy the winter than gathering with some friends and appreciating a good drink or three, and that’s just what’s in store at the Banff Craft Beer Festival.

The event will take place at the Cave and Basin National Historic Site from November 22 to November 24. This year’s festival even added a Thursday night to accommodate the festival’s high demand.

Attendees will sample from over 40 samples of Alberta’s craft breweries, eateries, and distilleries from across the province, as well as stop by a larger number of tents participating in this edition.

One of the highlights of this year is the Lanter Guided Cave Tours, offered to the first 150 people to sign up each day. The tours are one hour long and run every 10 minutes.

Another feature of the festival is the free shuttle service from Banff Ave Brewing in downtown to the Cave & Basin. Shuttles run every 15 minutes, and in order to board, all you need to do is present your festival ticket. Organizers added a third shuttle during peak hours this year, so there’s no excuse to be late!

General admission tickets include event entrance, sample mug, and live entertainment. Beer lovers can purchase the beer geek VIP ticket, which includes commemorative VIP Badge and Lanyard, $10 worth of sample tokens, a gift bag full of après stuff, and much more.
